  • Your first visit includes a comprehensive intake as well as a treatment. For general concerns, appointments last up to 90 minutes, and for fertility services, they last up to two hours. During this time, we review your health history, symptoms, and concerns to create a personalized treatment plan.

  • Most patients are surprised by how comfortable acupuncture feels. The needles are extremely thin, and many people experience only a mild sensation or none at all. Our approach is gentle and adapted to your comfort level at all times.

  • After the intake, you’ll lie on a comfortable treatment table. Thin, sterile acupuncture needles will be placed at specific points on your body corresponding to areas of imbalance or discomfort. Common locations include your arms, legs, back, or face. Most people feel little to no pain during insertion. Once the needles are placed, you’ll relax for 20-30 minutes with soothing music or nature sounds. We may also incorporate additional modalities into your visit.

  • Many patients report feeling deeply relaxed during the session, akin to assisted meditation. You might experience a slight tingling or warmth at the needle sites, but often there is no sensation at all. After the session, most people feel a sense of calm, increased energy, or symptom relief. Occasionally, you may feel tired or experience an emotional release after your first treatment.

  • Yes! We offer needle-free modalities like cupping, massage, and nutritional or herbal consultations to address your health concerns.

  • Acupuncture is cumulative, meaning its benefits build over time. We typically recommend weekly or twice-monthly sessions for 5-10 treatments, followed by a maintenance schedule of monthly, quarterly, or as-needed visits.

  • We do not accept insurance but can provide a super bill for insurance reimbursement if applicable. We also accept HSA and FSA.
